Couples Therapy with CBT – Break Negative Cycles and Reconnect

A cozy indoor sitting area with two wicker chairs and pillows, a small oval side table with a potted plant, and a larger potted plant nearby, set against a peach-colored wall with a white closet door on the left.

Are you stuck in the same recurring arguments? Has your communication broken down, or does it feel like you have drifted apart?

In any relationship, it is easy to fall into negative spirals where one partner's reaction automatically triggers the other's defense. By applying CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to couples therapy, we do not just look at what you argue about. Instead, we focus on how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors interact to maintain these problems in your daily life.

I offer Couples therapy and free consultations for couple therapy in Palma de Mallorca as well as online sessions for clients internationally.

How Does CBT Work with Couples Therapy?

Behind everything we do is a team of people who truly care. We bring our full selves to the table—open-minded, collaborative, and ready to make something great.

CBT is a structured, active, and forward-looking form of therapy. Both parties are heard without judgement. When we apply CBT to a relationship we examine the behaviours, unspoken "rules" and automatic thoughts that dictate how you function and how you interpret each other's actions.

We map out your typical conflicts to understand exactly where things go wrong and which behaviors escalate the tension.

You will learn and practice concrete CBT tools to express your needs clearly and listen actively, without falling into blame or defensiveness.

We work on finding a balance between accepting each other's differences and changing the specific behaviors that harm the relationship.
